The Apps World holds multiple conferences each year. This year, the first summit was held from 20th April to 21st April at Berlin Germany. This was the second summit held especially for the European App community. The two days event was attended by over 10,000 attendees from all over Europe as well as from the world. Key speakers included reputed names from the app world like Ian Livingstone, CEO Eidos; Richard Harless of Shazam, Kate Unswirth of Vinaya to name a few.

The Apps World 2016, Germany, included two free conferences and two paid workshops. Visitors are free to attend any or all of the events. The first day free event includes sessions held on mobile gaming, enterprise mobility, and multi-platform app development. Sessions included a speech on the history of gaming by Eidos CEO, Ian Livingstone and an interactive coding session held by Mariusz Szypura of TeleHorse. To answer the question of the attendees on how to understand the market better, a paneled session was also held with speakers Graham Mac Allister (Player Research), Alisa Bazyk (Soft Games), Iouri Sorokine (Seven Games Network). Case studies on German gaming industry and Fantasy Games provided attendees an in depth information on the gaming industry.

The second day free session included an interesting session on AR and VR games held by Thomas Bedenk of Exozet and Clement Hochreiter of Reality Twist. Apart from that other sessions included user experience, game design techniques, case studies etc. by various notable speakers.
The paid sessions for the first day included workshops and sessions on wearables, marketing strategy for mobile apps and payment gateways through apps. The second day workshops were sessions on HTML5 and Cyber Security. The prominent speakers for these sessions included Preston Moxcey, Jan Honsel (Pinterest), Christ of Baron, Libby Robinson to name a few.

The App World summit also held a Hackathon that encouraged startups to participate in the hackathon to develop mobile apps. Winners get to attend various other App World events and tech roadshows and with great takeaway prizes.

The second conference of the Apps World 2016 is to be held at Santa Clara USA. The Apps World USA will hold its 7th annual app conference this year. To be held on the 11th and 12th of May, similar to Apps World Germany this too is gala event with tech enthusiasts attending the summit from all around the world.

This year the key speakers at Apps World 2016, USA, includes Rob Scoble (Tech Evangelist); Israel Ferrerr of Twitter; Spike Brehm of Airbnb; Greg Bulmash of Amazon to name a few. Apart from the above, speakers also includes noted evangelists, angel investors and venture capitalists from all across USA.

The Apps World 2016, USA, is also a great platform for startups looking for a perfect launchpad. The summit would be attended by over 100 investors and capitalist firms in the look out for eligible startups worth investing. This year, the Apps World USA expects over 150 new startups to turn up for the launch of their products.

The free conference days include sessions on gaming, coding and development, creation of apps at enterprise levels and basics on Droid. Visitors can also attend the paid workshops on mobile marketing strategies, mobile shopping, mobile banking and use of HTML5 in mobile. The workshops include interaction and communicative sessions as well as case studies on various apps and app related features.
