2. Rich animations

Animations are nowadays used more and it is done to increase the site’s story telling manner which will make the experience more entertaining and interactive. But you can’t just stuff animation wherever you wish to. Think carefully as it adds to your site’s personality and story. Do not overdo it at any cost! Basically, there are two variations in animation.

Large scale animations

4) Material design: A richer alternative to flat design

The previous year, a new style language was launched by Google known as Material design. It makes use of shadow effects and gives more depth to movements to create designs that seem more true and realistic to the user. This could be the future of the global web design industry.

5. Responsive Design

Lately, responsive designs have become incredibly popular and all the credits go to the mobile internet usage. The responsive design is not going to vanish anytime soon as it gives a relatively cheap and easy method for businesses to develop a fully working mobile friendly site. The responsive images used must be defined with a percentage.
