iWatch Battery Life Does Not Match Apple Standards
Apple has created a great hype over the next iPhone that might be launching on 9th of September. But Apple has remained tight lipped about its first smartwatch. No leaks have been made or received in connection with the iWatch. However, a recent report by Apple insiders revealed that the rumored iWatch battery life will be quite a disgrace to the company standards.
The longevity of battery has been one of the most compromising issues of smartwatches ever since their arrival. And with the recent words out from the unit of Apple, it seems iWatch battery life too will be facing the same problem.
From the Apple Nest:
Employees of Apple itself have claimed that the iWatch battery life will be quite “disappointing”. iWatch is expected to be a chunky wearable. The circuit chip is expected to be the size of a postage stamp. The device also includes an NFC chip allowing direct payment from the smartwatch itself.
It also has few added sensors. The operating system is expected to be iOS 8. The charge up of the device is wireless. All of these features are sure to drain the power off the smartwatch rather quickly. This is the reason iWatch battery life might be a sore for Apple.
Poor battery a Common Factor:
iWatch will not be the first smartwatch with a poor battery life. The earlier versions of almost all smartwatches have faced the same problem. The main reason for such quick battery drainage is the sophisticated software installed in the devices.
The software installed in the smartwatches is mainly structured for smartphones and Tablets. These devices have batteries which are bigger than the smartwatch battery a multiple times.
Something more from Apple itself:
Apple has been in the news for its new iPhone 6. Apple has managed to keep the entire project of their latest smartphone under total wraps. Still, few rumors have sparked a few times. From those rumors it can be expected that the new smartphone might sport a Sapphire crystal screen.
Apple has already send invites to press and media for an event that is going to be held on the 9th of September. It is expected that Apple might launch its iPhone 6 at this event. The world might also see the launch of iWatch, Apple’s first smartwatch.
