Samsung Bendable TV incorporates Amazing 4K Technology

Samsung Bendable TV

The future of TV is here. Samsung bendable TV is the latest attractive news. Although it’s still a prototype, but the arrival of this TV in the market will swipe your mind away. Samsung announced the bendable TV at the Consumer Electronics Show 2014, and it is expected that it will soon hit the market. There was no clear announcement of the date of its release though.

About the TV

This bendable TV by Samsung was probably the biggest surprise of CES 2014. Reportedly, it will bend as per your needs. With one button in the remote control you can transform it from a flat TV to a curved one. The base of the TV is flat but with an amazing technology it will curve out from the sides.

New Samsung Bendable TV

Some people prefer flat TV while others like it curved. You can change the curvature of the TV as per your need. Samsung has finally solved both the problems. With Samsung bendable TV you will be able to experience the feel of both a curved and a flat television.

Features

The Demo Model in the show was 85-inch LED screen with 4K resolution. Surprisingly it is not an OLED. The frame, the backlight and the filters are just amazingly along with the bendable feature. In its curved shape it is said to match up the radius of Samsung’s flat sets. It is stunning to learn how Samsung has thought of such an innovative idea. It is really tough to imagine how much this TV will cost once it hits the market.

You will be astonished to see the sides of the TV going back to its original flat position with a simple press of a button on your remote control. Dave Das, Samsung’s Vice President of Home Entertainment and Marketing, stated, “And based on our feedback from consumer research, and from our retail partners, they love curved. And so bendable is taking it one step further and really allowing the consumer to customize the degree of the curvature, and, again, depending on where they’re sitting in the living room, striking that ideal balance.”
